The triggers we keep hearing

Plumbing and heating owners run two businesses: the one on the tools and the one that starts at 7pm. The second one is invisible until it caps growth — then it’s the only thing that matters.

  • Paperwork has moved into evenings and weekends — the 'second unpaid job' owners describe in trade forums
  • Taking on the next engineer stalls because the diary, quotes and certs won't stretch
  • Invoices go out days after the job; chasing starts weeks later and feels personal
  • A spouse or family member is doing the books unpaid — and quietly burning out
  • Gas Safe renewals, CP12s and compliance dates live in someone's head

From UK trade forums — real words from real owners, not published benchmarks.

Audit → diagnostic → handled

Mini-audit

Five minutes, six questions. Where your admin hours go and what they're worth — free, instant, honest.

Paid diagnostic

A bounded week inside your stack (ServiceM8, Tradify, Commusoft…): we map the workflows, time the leaks, hand you the findings either way.

Pilot → package

One real workflow live for a week. If it holds, a rolling monthly managed package. If it doesn't, you keep the map.

What we don't do — read this first

  • No issuing, signing or advising on Gas Safe / CP12 certificates — that's your registered engineer's legal job.
  • No tax filing, VAT returns or regulated submissions — your accountant signs off, always.
  • No formal debt collection or legal action — we chase politely, on your terms, to a point.
  • No people-supply arrangements — you buy a managed package with a supervised team inside it, never a person to engage.

Objections we hear: 'Nobody does it like I do' · 'My Mrs does it'

Questions owners actually ask

Do you work inside ServiceM8 / Tradify / Commusoft or do I have to switch?

Inside what you already use. The diagnostic maps your current stack first — most trade firms under-use the software they pay for. We configure and run it; we don't migrate you onto anything new.

Can you answer my calls or book jobs?

The managed package covers inbox triage, diary scheduling and booking confirmations during agreed hours. Out-of-hours call handling is a separate workflow we scope in the diagnostic — we don't pretend a retainer replaces a 24/7 answering service.

Who does the work — and can they disappear?

A supervised UK and Sri Lanka team under one UK contract and a named UK contact — both sides of the desk work as one. If your named person is off, the workflow still runs — cover is our problem, not yours.

Do you touch Gas Safe compliance or certificates?

We track renewal dates, organise the paperwork and chase the admin around certificates. We never issue, sign or advise on certificates — that's your registered engineer's legal job, and it stays that way.

What does it cost?

The mini-audit is free. The paid diagnostic is a fixed, bounded fee agreed before we start. Monthly packages are quoted after the diagnostic maps your actual workload — we don't publish a price we can't stand behind.
